Can’t do anything right 😥
I’m probably over sensitive due to anxiety but I’m sitting here devastated because I’m constantly made to feel like a failure for my poor sleeper. So when I saw a post of Facebook saying kids that wake often are smarter and have better mental health I shared it to give others in a similar sleep deprived situation a silver lining. I even made the comment that I don’t believe it’s true but I’m running with it because as someone with PPD I needed a positive of such an awful nights sleep. It was supposed to be a lighthearted positive for those that have troubled sleepers too, yet 3 comments came back basically saying I’m shaming those that have good sleepers.
Seems like the parenting is like Fight Club. You don’t talk about it. If you talk about your struggles, it’s your fault. If you talk about the positives, you’re shaming those that do it differently.
