If you have a yeast infection and your period what should you use?

I don’t know if it even makes a difference. I thought I was in for it at first and was really pissed off that I got my period while I have a yeast infection (I actually cried because I have been so miserable because of the symptoms) but I looked it up out of curiosity and period blood raises the PH in the vagina and it kills yeast cells and keeps them from growing, so that’s something cool I didn’t know. I have taken diflucan from my doctor twice within the last 2 weeks and I didn’t start getting relief from the symptoms until I got my period and have had it for a day..But I’m still unsure about using tampons, they really can’t be great if you have a yeast infection.
