Anyone take tums for heartburn while pregnant?

I am literally dying up everynight with heartburn and acid reflux which in turn makes me nauseous... anyone take tums? I cant stand the chalk taste but was told there are candy like ones that are like mentos...

Any other remedies are welcomed as well please
