Before finding our OB/GYN, we were seeing our family physician for prenatal visits. When we mentioned that we had two cats, she told us to think about putting them up for adoption.

I think this is an absolutely ridiculous thought, and it kind of offended me to be honest. They have never shown any sort of aggression whatsoever, and I feel like that is a super harsh suggestion. There has to be better ways to keep baby safe than getting rid of our pets?

I was curious if anyone else was told to do this? Also does anyone have any tips for babies and fur babies living happily together during the first few months?
