Hey everyone! I'm a FTM, and my work offers short term disability leave for 6 weeks for vaginal birth and 8 weeks for C-section. If I have a vaginal birth, I think I can only afford to take 8 weeks off (using my sick leave and some annual leave). I don't want to use all of my annual leave just in case my baby gets sick or we need to go to doctors appointments. Has anyone taken only 8 weeks off before? Did this seem like a decent amount of time? Any advice helps. Thanks!
