You’re a single person going on a camping trip with your friend and her boyfriend... What is a reasonable way of splitting costs for gas, campsite rental, etc?

I’m planning 2 camping trips with the same friend and her boyfriend... we’re taking my car and the campsite we’re booking is $60/night. When we talk about the trip, she keeps saying we’re splitting it all in half. But I’ll only be taking up a third of the campsite so I’ll pretty much be paying for her boyfriends vacation if we split it in half. We’re both very tight on money but they have 2 incomes that they share... I just don’t see how that’s fair for me.
So what do y’all think? Have you had similar experiences? If it isn’t fair, suggestions on how to talk to her about it?!
I just want the trip to be fair financially speaking so we can all have fun without any of us being in a tough spot!

The room/campsite would be, I pay half, they pay 1/4 each as they would be sharing a room and I would have my own. 
Food and activities would be evenly split. The same with petrol and travel expenses.

I just went camping with 5 friends and we split it 5 ways, even though there were 2 couples. I don’t understand why it would be half and half...unless the campsite includes 2 tents? But if you’re all bringing your own tents, you’re sharing the campsite three ways still 🤔

It should either be split between you and the two of them, or split evenly between the three of you. It doesn’t make sense for it to be split in half when there’s two of them

I do trips with just my boyfriend and we split it🙄 so if we had a third it would go 3 ways same for however many people. If they have two incomes it should be each person paying regardless of being in a relationship or not.

Anytime I used to go camping with a group, it was divided up per person, regardless of whether or not they were part of a couple.

What kind of expenses are you referring to?? The campsite?? If so, they would sort of count as one since they’re coming together. Food and other expenses that need to be paid on an individual basis should be split three ways. That’s just my opinion

Depends on how the expenses work out, and what works for the group. We go on vacation with another family every year. It’s the two of us, and either 3-4 of them. We always split it down the middle. It doesn’t cost us extra because they have an extra person. We save money by getting a condo with them vs a hotel etc. Food we split as well, because their kids don’t eat much. We are basically family and don’t nickel and dime each other.
