I came to the dr earlier after calling and mentioning a leakage of fluid I’ve been experiencing, had the nitrazine test (swab) done to test for ruptured membranes and it came back positive so the nurse admitted me, they’ve done an IV and I’ve done all the paper work etc the nurse assured me I’d be staying here until the baby is born, the doctor did an ultrasound and says there’s quite a bit of fluid still in the sac so now I am just waiting to get another check up by him to see if anything has changed, if not I’ll be discharged. I asked the nurse about it and she told me the test could’ve been a false positive .... I’m 36 weeks and baby is nice and healthy, I’m hoping baby girl will make her grand entrance soon, only because I’m already here I’ve already mentally prepared my self & I’m even more anxious to meet her now! Has any gotten a false positive on a test like that before?
