New to the group! Need advice please!

Hey ladies! Let me give you a brief (or maybe not) background of my cycle so I can get suggestions on what my next step should be!

Was a late bloomer... did not have my first period until I was 15 the first day was painful and I got sick, normal the rest of the week. Months went by without another period, until a year later same pattern horrible pain and throwing up. That is when my mom and I decided to make my first appointment with a gynecologist. Of course they told me that birth control would help regulate me and I may have issues when I get older and try to conceive.

Let’s jump forward my SO and I had been together for 9 years when he finally proposed and I had gotten off the pill the year before because I knew we would want kids right after we got married and I knew with my past issues it could be difficult. I wanted to see what my body would do on its own. Of course they were all over the place and even non existent months at a time for two years. We got married and started trying right away. But still wasn’t regular at all. Spoke to my doctor after trying for 6 months and since she knew my case she prescribed medication to start and to ovulate. I got pregnant with my daughter first round!

My mother was also the same way and told me after she had my brother she became regular. So of course I also had the same mindset. Once I have a baby maybe my hormones will reset!?!

My daughter is currently 3 and I was at one point regular for 3-4 months in a row and actually felt ovulation pain for the first time! But this year has not... again all over the place! My cycle dates range from 35 days to 71 days. My doctor mentioned PCOS after I had my daughter but never diagnosed me with it. Just said well with your PCOS you might straighten out after you have a baby.

So I was recently diagnosed with excessive sleep disorder (no matter how much sleep I get I am tired all the time) I have had blood work done and my thyroid checked. Nothing raises a red flag. Which I am thinking my hormones were check when they were actually working. They tell me to eat healthy, exercise and loose weight and of course birth control to help my periods. Keep in mind I was 130lbs when my problems started so I don’t think it’s a weight issue (currently 170 5’4).

Sorry I know this is a long post I am getting to the point... I am thinking that the being tired and all my other symptoms that come along with it may just be a hormone imbalance! I wonder if I should see an endocrinologist?

Anyone else have these same issues? I am wanting to grow my family by one more and would like to find out if I can do it without medication! Also want to be a normal 32 year old that is not tired and actually have energy to enjoy life!

Thanks in advance sorry again for the long post
