So I had my little one on Sunday 11th August. We tried to latch her within the first hour but no luck. Unfortunately she was then whisked away to the baby unit due to her breathing and turning blue on me. She was in the unit till this afternoon. I had been hand expressing my milk but they had to supplement her through a tube. At one point the nurses were pushing me to use a bottle! I was so angry as I knew my milk would come in. This morning it started to pour! I was so relieved and I’ve managed to prove those nurses wrong. They sad my nipples are fly and I’d struggle to feed. As soon as Summer and I have been reunited she has latched perfectly every time! We’re now on feed 3 at 2am in the morning. So worth it though! All I can say is don’t give up mummas, we can do it!

She still has the tube in at present but they should remove it tomorrow! Success
