Anyone on Metformin if so how long have you been on it ?

I've been on it since January. My periods are still not regular and I still dont ovulate.

Yes, I’ve been on it for many years.  It has done exactly what it’s supposed to do in the body.  It has made it possible for my body to use my insulin, and therefore regulate my blood sugar.  That is metformin’s job, so yes, it worked.  All of my bloodwork now looks perfect with no signs of PCOS.  The only indicator is the actual cysts on my ovaries.
Now, if your question is “did it make me ovulate?” The answer is no.  
For some women, when the blood sugar regulates, the other hormones regulate, too, which can essentially reset the body and the body may do what it’s supposed to do.  But that’s not the case for all women.

I’ve been on metformin (1500mg) since January 2019. I haven’t noticed it help much to be honest. 
I had to leave off the other fertility meds for a month and I was still about 35 days on a cycle (granted this is much shorter than my 40 day but as soon as it was metformin by itself I went from 28 to 35 day cycle).
Still taking it on doctors orders though because I can’t be sure what else it’s helping with.

Ive been on it just over a month. On my first period since I’ve started. Wondering if my hormones and cycles will be any shorter. I typically experience 10-15 day periods.

On it since May and it’s regulated my period. TTC with Metformin and Clomid round 2 currently.

I have been on it since November of 2018. It has really helped regulate my periods.
