Ftm Induction Success stories?

FTM here and have been measuring ahead my whole pregnancy a few weeks. Appt today and my belly was still measuring ahead, so doc is scheduling another growth scan next week. We chatted about options if baby is still huge and she mentioned possibly inducing at 39 weeks. I am totally fine with this.. but just looking for stories of successful inductions from any mommas on this thread! ❤️ Baby is sitting super low and head down, so we would opt for labor first before just jumping to c section, thank gosh.
Just looking for any insight! My SIL just had an indication recently and it was brutal for her.

I was induced with my first, at 41+2. I was able to have a vaginal delivery with him ONLY because I had a doula who fought for me and advocated for me. It was a 24hr labor with 4 hours of pushing and an epidural that ultimately failed. I wouldn’t recommend pitocin inductions because they put your body through the ringer and also increase your chances of c section because the medication is forcing your body to do the work it wasn’t initially prepared for which can mean stalled labors, failure to progress, baby not tolerating the contractions etc. I’m very thankful that I had a doula because if I hadn’t they would have taken me straight to a a c section after so many hours because I was 100% too tired to advocate for myself. I don’t even remember the birth of my son much because I was so tired of running the marathon, and lack of food etc. so while my story was a success, it wouldn’t have been without a birth advocate, and I wouldn’t recommend induction if baby and you don’t have anything life threatening going on. Big babies don’t automatically mean c section, and measurements can be wrong. My first daughter they took at 39 weeks because she was going to be over 9lbs based on ultrasound and belly measurements, turns out she was only 8lbs and the reason I measured larger is because of a large volume of amniotic fluid. I was induced on my due date with my first using the little pill they put in your cervix (forget what it’s called) and then pitocin. Everything was smooth and a fairly quick delivery (16 hours from when they started the pill). I would say that pitocin makes contractions more intense so I was glad for the epidural!

I was induced at 41 weeks with my first pregnancy. It went very smoothly, and I ended up with a basically uncomplicated vaginal delivery. I had an epidural at 6cm because those pitocin contractions are no joke, and I ended up with a 3rd degree tear because I wasn’t pushing effectively (bc of the epidural), but other than that things were very smooth. It’s definitely possible!

I was induced with my first at 37 weeks due to placenta complications. From start to finish I was in labor right around 10 hours. It started slow but once I hit 4 cm and my water broke during a check it was quick and easy with no complications!!

I had to be induced with my first daughter because my fluid was so low. They started the pitocin at 8A.M. and I had her at 2P.M. there was no complications at all and I had a vaginal birth.
