My sister gave me permission to post this as long as I don’t post her name or pictures/videos.

She had a surgery on her hand and I went and saw her and got there right when she came out and woke up. She had no idea who we were, at first I thought she was playing but she was so high she really had no idea who we were.

She said “how about y’all go away cause I don’t know any of you.”

We said “we are your family.” And my mom said “I’m your mom and I’m not leaving.”

And she said “you ain’t my momma. Beyonceeeee is my mom!” And she started singing Beyoncé songs and she would abruptly stop and look at us and say “who are y’all? Do yall understand what invasion of privacy is? Cardiiii beeeee” And we would crack up laughing lmao she was like dory from Nemo with memory loss. She kept saying “I’m just trying to get my jams on and people got sit in here when I don’t even know them.” “On god what’s so funny I’ve never seen any of you people before in my life.” “Where am I? Where is my arm? Did they take my arm?”

My mom said “your arm is right there its just numb.” And she picked it up with her other hand and said “oh god they took fingers” and we between laughter were like “no the fingers are still there swear to god they’re there.” And she was like “well as long as you say so. I can’t see them but, It’s okay, I’m okay.” And we were like yep, you are. She said “my doctor is so pretty. I don’t think she would take my fingers.”

Anyways we go in circles between Beyoncé and her arm and fingers and explaining that we are family and she’s okay and all the sudden it clicks and she’s like “oh god. You ARE my family.” And hides under the blanket. I wish sooo bad I could show someone the videos but I can’t lmao god

I left out so much it would be a book but I think the best part is when I made her laugh and I was like “do you recognize me now?” And she stopped laughing immediately and looked at me completely serious and said “no. Not at all.” 🤷‍♀️🤣
