#KnifeFree movement

This debate is actually happening as I am writing this.

In England and Wales, there is a new anti-knife crime message being displayed on fried chicken boxes. Image below.

This is part of the ongoing #KnifeFree campaign.

A lot of people are calling it racist because it’s playing on the stereotype that ‘Black people love fried chicken’.

Others are calling it stupid because they could be using the funds for other prevention methods, or rehabilitation for young people in gangs/prison.

I want to know what everyone here thinks about the movement.
