Baby location

So i went in to be observed for a while yesterday and they had a hard time finding my little mans heart beat. I do have an anterior placenta so that probably has a role in it.

But the only place we could find the heart beat was basically below my panty line, I’m 26weeks and it seems everyone else’s is higher up. I do know that my placenta is no where near my cervix praise God!

But I have never felt anything that felt like it could be his head of bottom. I feel kicks on both of my sides under my belly button. But that’s it. I can’t figure out how he may be laying, other than transverse but still why could I not feel a hard lump from a he’d or bottom ? Any thoughts ladies ? Anyone else have a hard baby to belly nap?
