Preseed: worth it?

Pros/Cons of preseed? What are y’all’s opinions? Headed into our 8th month of ttc and really just getting desperate

I’ve used preseed before and it hasn’t worked but I also wasn’t really tracking ovulation, I bought a new tube and my husband has been working like crazy so I used it once the first week of June a few days before ovulation, because the lube keeps sperm alive for 5-7 days and I ended up pregnant lol.

19 months trying used it first time this month 1 day late will let you know if it’s worked by weekend
