We just moved into our house about a year ago; we don’t know/talk to our neighbors. Earlier this summer one of the neighbors got a puppy. Everything was fine, the family loved the dog blah blah blah. Well now the guy lets the dog out on a chain in the morning, she sits outside all day, sometime without shade during hot days, and most times when it rains the dog sits outside without shelter. The dog doesn’t bark to be let in when it does rain, but I feel so bad because the dog has no where to go when it rains! Then they will bring the dog in around 9:30/10pm.

I came home today, dog was sitting outside, then it started pouring.. no one runs outside to let the dog in and there she sits for 10-15 in the rain. It finally stopped raining, but she’s still out there. I called animal control, told them the situation. They will be coming over tomorrow to check it out and give them a dog house if they can’t afford one.

I am SUCH an animal lover and want to be the voice of those who can’t speak for themselves.. I don’t want anyone to get in trouble and I don’t want them to know it was me because I don’t want retaliation.. I could have went over there in the rain and talked to them, but now days you don’t know what anyone is capable of, and I don’t want to put myself in that situation.

I HAD to do something, that poor pup. 😕
