So I generally have to hold my lo for him to nap. I don’t mind most of the time, I like the cuddles. I was talking to my father the other day about how I couldn’t talk on the phone because my lo was sleeping and I didn’t want him to wake up. He immediately said how I better “break that habit”.

If I never hold him to sleep, he’d be cranky all day and night from not sleeping. I’ll take what I can get and as long as my lo is happy.

Just ranting because of unwanted “advice” from people who haven’t dealt with infants in many many years. Especially those who are stuck in old ways of doing things.
