Big babies?!

Girls talk me down! I went for my 32 week growth scan today and they are telling he’s 5lbs!! HELP! I’m scared. I’m being induced at 37 weeks but that’s a whole 5 weeks away. Anyone experienced anything like this before? 😬

My son was estimated to be 5-1/2 lbs at 32 weeks. He was 9 lbs even at 40 weeks. I wouldn’t worry, especially if you know you’re delivering at 37 weeks. Also, sometimes these estimations are not accurate.

Their guesses are normally off! But even if they’re right, they say baby normally gains 1/2oz a week, so you’d only be looking at 7 1/2lbs! 
They told me my baby was going to be 8lbs1oz but she was born 6lbs12oz!! So don’t stress!!

I agree with the first comment I heard these estimations can be quite far off. If your getting induced early then I wouldn't be worried at all.
Is there a reason they are inducing you at 37 weeks?

I'm in the same sitiation. Only they won't induce me because there is no medical reason and I haven't asked for it either. But I'm a tiny woman! How am I suppose to push a Buddha baby out?! 😂

Same here 😅 baby is measuring almost 3 weeks ahead size wise- not belly wise BABY is ... went in for a grow check ultrasound - been having them every 4 weeks because my 1st baby was actually growth restricted & stopped growing.
Looks like this boy is the total opposite... 
& my normal body weight is 95lbs SO my body making a 6+ pound baby is a little crazy to think about.
