TV Lullabies?

Okay ladies so my little girl loves me singing to her and also watching lullabies in the tv is that bad? The most i do is 15 minutes of tv twice daily. She likes them so much whenever she gets fussy that calms her down and usually puts her to sleep.  Picture of my baby girl Valerie ❤

I’d like to read the scientific papers stating the sound waves from TV are different to those from radio and real life... sounds like BS to me 🤷🏼‍♀️ the reason they suggest not to watch TV and why it could be harmful is not because of the TV itself but because of what is not happening... if they are watching TV then they’re not playing or talking to you... that being said my boy LOVES to watch the Sesame Street nursery rhymes on TV it’s been the best to get us through the worst parts of witching hour he gets so calm and happy dancing along to the songs - I don’t think there is anything wrong with a little TV as long as you are playing and talking to him most of the day and it’s just for a short while - we never just leave our boy sitting in his chair staring at the screen, we are always singing along and dancing with him. I recommend the celebrity Sesame Street songs - the Feist one and Ed Sheerans are our bubs favorites and they’re not as mind numbing as the nursery rhymes when you hear them for the hundredth time 😄

I think you do what you think is best and will only pass on what my SO has researched because you asked, but really, no judgement... 
TV in any amount before two (I believe) has been found to significantly lower a child’s ability to speak and the blue light from screens can injure the development of their eyes. The speech issues are because the sound waves from tv are different than radio or real life. All baby hears are garbled noises. This confuses them and makes it harder for them to retain word memory. The blue light is something that has been known for a while and actually hurts our eyes as well, just not as much as baby’s.

my son loves cocomelon videos on YouTube! He’s addicted he will just stare at the screen and giggle. They’re a bunch of nursery rhymes and baby songs. I highly recommend
