Did the mini-pill make you bleed constantly?

I decided to go on the POP because I’m breastfeeding, but several people I know said they had a “constant period” on it for months. Light bleeding. 
I really hope that’s not the case but if it was for you, when did it go away? Did you switch BC? How was that experience different (better/worse/same)? Also, if you’re comfortable, did it affect your sex life?

Also had no sex drive at all to start at off with and gained a little weight, but that went away too

I’ve been on the mini pill for about 8 months now, for the first two months I bled daily, never heavy but constant. After that, the bleeding seemed to stop altogether, I haven’t had a period since. Also made me extremely sensitive and emotional in the first few months, headaches and cramps too, but all of that went away after a while. Basically it was a living hell to start off with, but fine now 😅
