Never used conditioner... Does your hair really need it?

I have white people hair, I know that probably makes a difference. But my hair is sooo ugly no joke. Just wondering if it's because I've never used conditioner in my life 🤧

I always use conditioner! Otherwise I can’t comb through my hair after my shower without it pulling my hair. I also live in a very dry state (Colorado), so my hair needs all the moisture it can get

What do you mean by ugly? Can you post a pic of your hair?

Your hairs not bad at all! If you wanted you could put like a drop of hair oil to keep your fly aways down and give your hair some shine

You have gorgeous hair. Hair doesnt need conditioning. If you have hair like mine itll get too greasy.

Going to a stylist could help you immensely as they would be able to see and feel your hair and give you tricks. I can't imagine not using some sort of hydration for my hair, but I have curls and curls are dry. I also cowash instead of shampoo and conditioner 🤷🏼‍♀️

My hair is frizzy af and curly.( I flat iron mostly) I dont condition in the shower ever. I use a small amt of leave in and oil ( paul mitchell (skinny) and go. Its smooth and manageable without the weight down of heavy conditioners.

It could just be your hair type but conditioner really does make a difference!!

Shampoo cleans out the buildup & conditioner restores the hair with some oil that are supposed to be in your hair. You probably just never just shampoo all the time. You are constantly just stripping your hair of the natural oils.

I use separate a shampoo and conditioner 4 days a week, a 2-in-1 twice a week, and then an anti residue shampoo once a week.
