My son was not ready to come out

My last two appointment I had them check me and I was not dilated so finally due date comes along 7/20 and I was hoping to be induce that day lol but doctor decided to go another week

So on 7/29( i was 41w and 2 days)we arrive at the hospital 1230 am ready to go. They started me on cervidil and 12 hrs later they check me and I’m still not dilated so doctor decides to give me another dose all that did was barley get me to 1cm. So here we are 7/30/2019

The doctor decides to go ahead and put me on piticon and my contractions start to kick in pretty regularly back

to back still not painful I was able to sleep through most of it

My doctor comes back later in the day and no changes... she says we are going to try the folly ballon to dilate you! I swear I wanted to punch my doctor in the face as she inserted this ballon I was in so much pain and having contractions at the same time

Finally she gets the ballon in I felt paralyzed She tells me we have to keep it in until it falls out at 3cm well

5 mins go by and i have to pee

As soon as I sat down the ballon fell out! All I could think is I am not having them put another in you can take me to get a csection now!(my doctor thought I pulled it out) but the ballon worked fast I was at 2cm

Afterwards doctor decides to let me lay down and continue on the piticon by this time I was in pain and asked for the Iv drug( It worked within seconds I was feeling like I hit cloud 9) I fell asleep and woke up to more pain I couldn’t take it anymore and asked for the epidural at this point I was 3cm. I was moved to the actual delivery room

my doctor broke my water I was able to fall asleep

but maybe an hr later I was up and feeling contractions I told the nurse it’s not working she said I can push the button for more well I did twice and still felt the same! I couldn’t move my legs up I was numb but I was still feeling contractions

And then the pressure kicked in! All I kept saying was I’m going to poop myself I need to get up but my mom said no this is baby coming

I was checked and i was at 9cm

The nurse left and went to get ready by this time I was in so much pain from the pressure and contractions I was pissed it felt like they took foreverrrr to come back

I was checked again and I’m at 10 cm time to push!

I pushed for an hr My son was busy moving in the birth canal i could feel him it was the weirdest feeling combined with contractions and pressure

the nurse said she can see him trying to push himself back in and out

I couldn’t get my son out the last couple pushes I was exhausted and I was pushing with my face I couldn’t do it anymore felt like i was going to pass out so he had to be vacuumed out my husband was not pleased I never seen a video but the way he described it I wouldn’t want to see this done.

He came out active and in good shape he had a cone head as well at

Unfortunately he had to stay in the hospital for a week due to his crp test levels coming back high

It was very hard not taking your baby home after your prepared to leave with him but he is now in great health condition and I couldn’t be more blessed 💙

Recovery was quick( i read so many labor stories i was convinced i was going to break a tailbone or something) 😂

But I only had 1 stitch as well 1st degree I was up and moving around by the 5th day no problem didn’t even feel like I just pushed a baby out

He has 2 moods happy cuz he ate and don’t play give me the boob mom 😂
