My husband is an over the road truck driver. He's really starting to frustrate me. We both agreed that we were going to feed our baby breast milk. Unfortunately, she won't latch, so I exclusively pump. I finally found a pumping schedule that works for me.

Anyway, he frustrates me, because when he is home, he gets upset that I want to go to bed so "early ". I have been getting the baby to bed by 9ish, pumping and then going straight to bed. I'm up again at midnight. Last week I got, "You don't stay up and watch TV with me anymore, you get her to sleep and then go straight to bed.

And tonight, a friend of ours is coming over, but after 9pm, and I told my husband that as she as I'm done pumping, I'm going to bed. And he asked if I could wait until our friend got here.

I said, he better get here soon before I need to go to bed, I have to be up at midnight to pump.

He responded with, Don't do this.

Like I was arguing with him.

It's little shit like this that makes me want to just give up and go to formula, but I'm not going to. I just wish he understood how hard this all is for me.
