Will the flab go away?

It only been 7days since my c-section but as my belly is slimming I notice this flab now hanging at the bottom and it hangs over my pants. Does everyone get this and does it go away? Pre-pregnancy I have always been in shape with a tight stomach.. but now I’m worried I’m going to have this extra skin hanging...  it trying to offend anyone just curious of what to expect.

Belly binding is the best thing you can do for it (not the same as waist training). Your body is super responsive to it until around 6 weeks because of all the relaxin still in your body. It will also help you uterus shrink back down faster.

2 kids later I still have mine. Even when I lost a lot of weight it was smaller but still there. On my last & final baby #3 and terrified what it’ll look like after 😩 but we did an amazing thing making and birthing babies 👶🏼

Try to wear a belly binder! I wore mine almost 3 weeks and it helped a lot! Had a c section as well.

Get a belly binder!! Used it maybe 2 weeks post partum until I felt 'tucked back in' so to say. Would wear it after waking up and maybe take it off for a little and then put back on. Few hours a day

I wasn’t in the best shape before pregnancy however I’m now almost 7 weeks out and it’s gone down considerably. I still have a little bit that hangs over but I’ve noticed slowly it’s going away

Honestly depends on how you recover, how the scar heals, etc. I have quite a bit that hangs but I wasn’t very good at working on my core or general weight loss after pregnancy. I know many who have had c sections and their belly went back to how it was before. It might be more difficult but it’s possible.

Had my first in 2012 and I still have a big of hangover.  I skimmed down to a BMI of 16 and still had a little hangover.
It's genetics, some women get it and some don't.  The best way to tell is by looking at your mother. 
Good luck with your postpartum health and fitness -- please love and embrace your womanly body.  It's ok to not look like a magazine cover.  Love yourself cause you are gorgeous.
