FTM hands in mouth and feeding
Okay so question because I’m a FTM and I just don’t know. They say hands to mouth is a feeding cue. But my now 11 week old who discovered his hands a few weeks ago is always putting his hands in his mouth and either sucking or chewing on them. I’m confused if wether that’s just a normal developmental thing or a feeding cue. If it’s a feeding cue then I would be feeding him all of the time. I EBF and he eats every two hours sometimes even shorter. He was born at 8lbs 9 oz and now weighs 12 lbs 4 oz. I know he’s gaining weight but very slowly. I’m just at a loss because the doctor didn’t seem concerned about his weight gain which is around the 30/40 percentile which is slightly dipped but he seems satisfied after feedings (milk drunk) 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I need some advice please
