When to tell our family 🙃

The last time I was pregnant I told my mom and grandma at 5 weeks, but they told me if I got pregnant again not to tell them that early. So I’m just trying figure out when I should tell them and my husband family. I feel like I need to tell them all around the same time. How weeks were you when you told your family or when are you going to tell them?

I am 5w and we will probably tell my family tomorrow, this is our first and their first grandbaby, I wanted to wait until we are all together or until I was further along but I just can’t help it! Only telling close family and friends right now though, we will announce to everyone around 12w

People suggest once you hit the 2nd trimester for less of chance of a miscarriage.

I'm 7 weeks and have our first ultrasound on Monday, I'm telling my parents next week. Also it's my Gramma's birthday so I got the cutest little thing. This is the first grandkid/great-grandchild in the family.

Why would they tell you not to tell them that early? I feel like you should be able to tell everyone whenever you want......I'll probably be like 11 weeks when I tell my family but only because I am waiting until we are all together. I already told my hubby and best friend though.

I told my family when I was 6 weeks pregnant last time. It happened to be Easter Sunday and I just felt like it was a good time since most of us were together.
I figured if anything bad happened at least I would have the support rather than having to just announce my miscarriage if I had one as my pregnancy announcement. My son is now 9 months old and I’m almost 5 weeks pregnant so I reallly want to tell everyone early again. Also my 9 month old son is 26 lbs and starting to act like a toddler and is super mobile lol so I do need to tell people so I can reach out for some help
