Period irregular from Birth Control

So I’ve been on Birth Control since April and the reason why I’m on it is for hair loss, acne, and to regulate my period. But since I’ve been taking it it’s been making my period more irregular. I have been putting down my days and when I start and when I finish but when my calendar says I’m suppose to get it at this time.. I don’t actually get it. Is this normal?
