How do you know?

If it’s PPD or PPA and not just effects of sleep deprivation?

I don’t want to be on medication for life, but I was diagnosed with depression before pregnancy and had meds, then went off due to pregnancy and now struggling and trying to figure out if I have to go back on meds.

So if I have to go back on I guess I will work on acceptance, but right now I’m so anxious I can barely make a decision on how to dress him for the night so he’s warm enough, never mind whether or not I should start medication while breastfeeding.
