Am I contracting?

Can contractions feel like a dull period cramp in your abdomen? I’m a first time mom so I’m not sure what to expect them to feel like. I’m 4 days over my due date and scheduled to be induced Monday night.

That’s how mine started like dull period pains, my bump completely changed shape and dropped so it was all saggy. I phoned the hospital and they said it was braxton hicks but I just knew. I timed them and noted them in my phone for 7.5 hours at home as it got worse and then got to the hospital and was 5cm. Water and a hot water bottle helps the contraction pain, good luck! Sounds like early labour. Have you had a funny tummy at all? That was my first sign!!

Yes, I also had horrific back pain that was much worse than the abdominal cramping feeling 😬
