Will it come back????

Question

so I had cholestasis with my son who is now 17months old, but ended up having him early because of the condition. My question is will it come back with this pregnancy I kinda want to prepare for every outcome

I had it with my daughter who is 16 months. My OB said it’s a higher chance but doesn’t mean it will come back. A friend of mine had it with her son and is about to deliver twins and it didn’t come back so it’s possible.

I'm an ob/gyn and if you had it in a previous pregnancy chances are you'll have it in your future pregnancies. But this is not always the case
