Are you close with your brothers?

I was get jealous of my two best fiends because they’re so close with their big brothers. Their brothers will comment things like “I miss you” or “I love you” on their photos. I find it to be so odd but only because of the brothers I grew up with it. They were and still are so mean and degrading to me. I’m so jealous and would give anything to have a close relationship with them

I was close-ish but then he kept choosing his girlfriend and her family over us so I dropped him from my life.

I am the only girl in the family, am the youngest and have three older brothers. They have always protected me and we have always been close and m 35 years old! I can’t imagine not being close to my brothers. I’m sorry they are like that to you.

I feel exactly the same... 2 older brothers... their wives have caused so many issues in the family.   Even their wives have caused them to not talk to each other! Used to be best friends with the middle one.  It’s sad.

I'm very close to my brothers but I also think that's because I raised them. We lost our parents young and I think that happening made our bond even stronger. They still come to me for everything lol. My youngest brother(22) is finishing up college so he still lives with me when he's not at school and my other brother(26) is about to get married and has a son. I'm 31 and I've been raising them since I was 12. I do think it's normal for brothers to not get along with their sisters. I have an older sister who wasn't around too much and neither of my brothers talk to her but I still do. Every family is different. Your parents shouldn't let them be mean to you because that just reinforces their behavior. Stay strong and don't let them get to you

Me and my younger brother have always been super close. He’s only 2 years younger so we’ve always had that closer bond. My older brother is 10 years older so we were never that close. But now that we’re older both my brothers are my best friends. They always have my back and they’re always there for me no matter what I need. They’re also best friends with my fiancé. They talk to him allllll the time. I think they like him more than me sometimes lol.

When we were little yes. But then we grew up and I hadn't really talked to/seen him in years and then he went to prison and I've chosen to not have contact with him even after he gets out for the specific crimes he did 
So no, he's non-existent in my life and that's how it's going to stay

My brother and I hated eachother growing up . Wed always fight and tell on eachother . Certainly never had eachother backs . But now hes like one of my best friends . It took us both growing up ( mainly him . I had to grow up young so I matured way faster than him but he was always putting me down to make me feel stupid )

Grew up VERY close to my 3 siblings. 2 brothers and a sister. We are all still close but as we all get older it changes naturally. We are all doing our own thing. My older brother is married with 3 kids now so naturally he is in dad/husband mode more than brother mode. I also feel like he's changed a lot since his wife. Like distanced himself a bit. I guess its all normal part of growing up, getting older, living our own lives type of thing🤷‍♀️
