Does clomid change ovulation day?

Hi! I am doing IUI this month and my Dr put me on clomid. I have been ovulating but my cycle lengths were varied so that’s why he put me on it. My instructions say to call if I don’t get a positive ovulation test within 5 days of my last pill, and today is day 5. My question is, would clomid change my ovulation day if I was not having issues ovulating before taking it? According to my calendar prediction, I wouldn’t be ovulating until around the 21st without the clomid. I am going to call, but wanted to see if anyone knew.

Not on clomid my ovulation day was cd 15, on clomid it was cd 17

It didn’t change my O day and it wasn’t within 5 days. I took it cd 2-6 and I ovulated on cd 13 (as normal)

I took clomid days 3-7. I usually ovulated on my own between day 10-12. I had ultrasound scans on day 12 and I was always close to ovulation but hadn’t yet. With clomid I also used a trigger shot usually on day 13 so I would ovulate on day 14.

My doctor told me to test starting cd10. If I didn’t get a positive after 5 days (cd15) to call. I called and within hours got my positive on cd 16 for IUI on cd17. Prior to being on clomid I was consistently getting a positive OPK on day 13. So yes, clomid changed my ovulation! Good luck!
