would it be selfish of me to not want to celebrate my daughters 1st birthday the way everyone does? she shares the same birthday as her dad and we are private people.. i was thinking of renting a cabin and staying there for 3-4 days and getting a smash cake for her to smash for her birthday in the cabin.. we live in washington so the cabin would be in the forest or by a cute river.. i just want it to be just us. we are so busy with our lives that we arent able to just step back and relax.
