throat super sore after deep throating

so over a week ago I gave a guy head & I deep throated but it was only for about 6 minutes. The day after, my throat was KILLING ME & it was super sore. I ended up getting a small fever but it went away overnight. It’s been over a week & my throat is still sore & my voice hasn’t been the same bc it hurts to talk regularly. I don’t have anything sus in my throat like white spots or bumps, so I’m wondering what this can be.
