When yo start using the teething necklace.

Question

I have one of those natural Stone necklaces for my LO but she's been so small and I've been so scared to leave it on her without me watching her. But it seems my SIL had it on all of her LOs since like birth. 
Is anyone using the necklace and when do you recommend putting it on? My little is now about 10lbs

I’ve read such contradictory things on the amber teething necklace. Some swear by it and some say it’s a load of garbage. Personally, I’m nervous about the choking hazard.

I have one teething necklace I wear for the baby but I wouldn’t ever buy one to put on the baby

I feel like I've read somewhere that those don't help (obviously don't quote me on that) and I'd never put a necklace on my baby -- I'd be too scared of strangulation.
