Getting back on the pill
I had taken the combination pill from the beginning of December 2018 to the end of March 2019. I stopped taking it because of severe nausea. At first I wanted to switch, but then I kind of panicked and decided not to take it anymore. I am mostly scared that another type of the pill may lead to mood swings or that taking it will in the long term affect my ability to get pregnant.
However, not taking the pill has turned out to be a huge nuisance in my sex life, so I am considering going on it again. My SO and I have basically ended up with using the pull out method 95% of time. This makes me feel more and more anxious as time goes on. I know this is very irresponsible, which is why I started looking into other BC methods and figured out that the pill is still probably the best fitting one for me, but I am concerned about the frequent hormonal changes to my body. I took it for 4 months, then not for 4 months. My body went through 2 abrupt changes in a very short time span and I am worried about how it may be effected if I start taking different hormones again.
If anyone has experienced something similar or has any advice for me, I would be very happy to hear from you.
