Age gap relationship opinions

I’m 22 and my boyfriend just turned 39. It’s a 16 year age gap. I’m happy and he’s my best friend. My friends are supportive as long as I’m happy and some of my family too. However my moms very judgmental towards it. What are you opinions on age gaps? Just curious
