Thyroid level on TTC?

Someone told me that my thyroid level had to be below 2 to be able to get pregnant I’m not sure does anyone else know ?

Dr.’s recommend getting your level below 2 before getting pregnant to reduce your chance of miscarriage. I didn’t know I had hypothyroidism and got pregnant twice and miscarried both times before finding out. My levels were around 5 at the time.

I blame my thyroid for my recurrent miscarriages. I’ve now stabled out and my levels were 0.79 when las checked. I’m due my bloods taking over the next week hopefully my levels are still stable
