Has anyone ever been on the carnival cruise?

I want to take my soon to be 6 year old on vacation next year we typically take a trip together once a year and this is the first year we haven’t traveled anywhere.

Last year we did the Disney cruise to the Bahamas.

This next trip we want to do a cruise to Mexico just a quick 4 day trip. And I was thinking about carnival cruise line. And opinions?
