I’ve been with my boyfriend for 4 years now.. last year, during a “break” that he suggested he started dating someone else.. he broke it off with her and we got back together a few weeks later. The other day, on my way home from work i saw him walking back to his house with the same girl from last year. I just kept driving but called him to meet up later that night.. when i confronted him, he said she was there for his mom (the girl and his mom are friends), he got into a fight and walked off but she “followed him” to make sure he was okay.. he apologized for how it looked but insisted it was nothing. I believe nothing happened but i broke up with him anyway for even engaging with her. I miss him and i just wanna know if breaking up was necessary?
