Well, summer is coming to an end & my mom isn’t going be able to watch my daughter at my place anymore. My mom lives 30ish miles away from where I live. Both my husband and I work full time, my mom watches my daughter two days a week. Day care is RIDICULOUSLY priced here, so it’s definitely not something that we’d be able to afford.

So my daughter will be with my mom at her house from Wednesday night to Friday evening, I’m heartbroken, I’ve been crying for the last few days because of how bummed out I am. The traffic where I live is awful & I work a 9-5 shift so I’d have to wake up at 5am to drop my baby off on thursday morning to make it in time for work & drive 2 hours after work to pick my daughter up, then drive 2 hours back home, which is an absolute waste of time ): so I’m going to have to deal with being away from my daughter.

Is anyone else away from their babies for this long, weekly?
