Does anyone else experience this?

Every night at around 7-8 my 4 week old baby acts like he is hungry but won’t stay latched on the boob or take a bottle. He cries and fusses and sticks his tongue out like he is hungry but turns food away. Is it just the witching hour?

My five week old does this routinely and she has severe reflux. We use gripe water and it works wonders for her

My 3 week old son does this also. It is so frustrating! But we will get through it.. after trying to feed for awhile eventually I just give up and will walk around with him to soothe the fussiness and finally when he’s calmed down enough we try to feed again. Tonight while he did this I calmed him down by walking around and then gave him a bath! Used calming lotion and he was relaxed enough he finally took the boob and now he is sleeping. Maybe try a bath tomorrow night! I hope it helps

My son started that around 4 weeks old and he’s still doing it and he’ll be 6 weeks this Friday I also have this app the wonder weeks that lets me know when they are going through a growing spurt and my son also has acid reflux and it sounds like what he does as well so I’m thinking it’s a combo of both he’s slowly getting better so don’t worry it’ll get better!

Possibly reflux? Does he arch his back and cry after feeds? If so your gonna wanna talk to your pediatrician.
