What would you do if your husband/boyfriend hardly helped you with the baby? I need suggestions

My husband does at times...but hardly ever. He believes it’s my job as he works all day. He says he’s relaxing after a hard day of work. He sits on the couch or his phone and ignores myself and my son. I have to do everything. Including make dinner, clean up dinner, bathe baby, put baby to bed, laundry, etc. The odd time he will cook food...and that just started a few months ago. Before he wouldn’t do anything! If I ask him to watch baby, most of the time he’ll say no or watch but not really watch. He’ll be staring at the tv or his phone. It’s super frustrating!!!!

Just now I asked if he would please give baby a bath he said no, He doesn’t feel like bending over bathing him when he was doing it all day at work and that he’s tired. He’s just sitting on the couch playing video games. I told him you know it’s not fair that we both made this baby and I do everything and he said “you’re right” and just continued...I literally think he said that to shut me up.

I’m so frustrated idk what to do. Whenever I bring it up he just says how he works and that if I stop doing things he’s going to stop working then. He’s not actually serious, but its just so immature that he even says that!

I’m so exhausted and sleep deprived it’s not even funny! I can’t even threaten him with saying I’ll leave because I can’t afford it on my own so he’ll just laugh at me and not take me seriously at all 😥 It’s getting to the point where I’m feeling sick all the time and having trouble keeping up with the house and cooking regularly, I’m super forgetful too (and then he gets upset)...it’s just too much! I feel like a failure mom, but I sit really need the help! Ugh I wish he understood what it’s like.
