My little boy keeps holding and sometimes pulling his ears has anyone else’s baby done this?

Mine does this, especially when upset, tired and mommy isn’t there. I asked dr if it was normal and he said yes just be glad I don’t have a head banger. 😒😢it sucks I feel bad when he does it and makes it even harder to try and let him fuss just a bit to go back to sleep because he will do it til his ears bleed.

My son tugs at his ears when he’s tried but lately he’s been pulling much more. He even left a scratch on one of them. I think hes teething because if I feel around his lymph nodes they are not swollen and he doesn’t get upset If I mess with his ears.

Teething most likely, or an ear infection. The ear, nose, and throat are all related. My ears hurt when I had my tonsils taken out a few years ago because the pain transfers.

My little man does this I asked the pediatrician about it and he said it could be because of teething. They can't localize where the pain is so they just pull at where they think it's coming from. Could have just realized where their ears are too and that they can pull them. Lots of curiosity at this age! He said if it was an ear infection it would come with a fever and lots of crying and crankiness!
