Maternal vibes before period

So I got my period today and my boyfriend let me know that that’s why I’ve been so maternal lately (we don’t have kids btw). I asked him why and he said I’ve been showing him memes that were exclusively parent related and photos of “cool” baby products. I’ve also been asking if he’s eaten, or if he’s slept well more than usual.

So I’m wondering if this is normal?? This is the first time this has happened and I feel like it’s because we’re both in our late 20s and everyone around us has kids, etc. it’s nothing negative and I find it pretty funny. If anything we figured out we’d be decent parents in the future.
