“Untraditional” baby shower?

Am I nut case for wanting what might be considered an “unconventional” baby shower? 
I don’t want games or a theme, just a coed lunch time get together with friends and family! 
Anyone else in the same headspace?

I’m doing a graduation party (I finish my bachelors in December 🙌🏼) and baby shower combined. So it will be a bit different as well 😊

I want a co-Ed shower as well. But also want a theme and games 😁 having all my family and friends eating good food and spoiling me and my baby girl sounds like a great day! 🥰🤰🏼🙏🏼🤪

I think that’s fun! My cousins had a diaper party, it was a coed dinner at a hall. It was fun, no traditional stuff. I have friends who had a coed bbq/cookout. They are more laid back and include spouses.

We had a BBQ with my daughter!  I hate the stupid games and all that nonsense.  We invited a bunch of friends, had burgers and beer and everyone really enjoyed it!  Do what you want to do... people will always have an opinion but when it comes to what is right for your family, yours is the one that matters.

We did coed with my first and it was a lot of fun. This one will be ladies only because we have like 5 events happening around this time and I just don’t want to deal with something a little bigger. Odd one out here but I enjoy the games and get very competitive with my sisters 😬

We’re not finding out what we’re having so we’re having a baby shower after the birth and it’ll just be a coed get together. No one really likes the games anyway
