Getting upset about baby getting older

Hi

This may sound the strangest thing ever but I can’t help how I feel. I’m soo excited to see the little person he will become but I’m also so upset that he’s getting older. If I think about it, I cry!

I was so over whelmed by his traumatic birth and the struggles of a newborn that I I struggled to bond with him at the beginning and didn’t feel that instant connection which I told would happen. now I feel I lost precious time with him as a little baby and feel so upset that I didn’t fully take in and enjoy the newborn stage.

I now take in every second I have with him and enjoy holding and loving him that I don’t want this stage to pass like the ones before 😪

Does anyone else feel so strongly? 😢😞
