1 month old sleep amount?

How much sleep is your one month old getting a day? Our girl is very alert and awake more than feels like she should but she’s happy, healthy, gaining weight, growing and not really fussy!

My son is a month old and has his days where he'll sleep all day or be awake all day. It's either or - but he sleeps most of the night and wakes 2 maybe 3 times a night.

My son is awake all day, maybe a nap here and there. He also sleeps for the majority of the night besides waking up to eat.

I think my baby sleeps literally like 18 to 20 hours a day... Sometimes I wonder if it's too much?? But he will literally sleep for 2 to 3 hours, be awake for a short while, eat and then sleep again. There have been a few times I've tried to keep him awake longer to see if he will sleep better at night, but I regretted it for sure... So I just continue on his schedule. He will be 1 month old on the 28th.

14-21 hours of sleep is normal. So it's a pretty big range.
