It's scary, my advice is give it a chance. I'm a small gal too & I prefer smaller as it is, 
But I have been able to enjoy larger dicks before too. 
I'd say, do what you are comfortable with and don't pressure yourself to do anything that makes you uncomfortable. If it hurts you, you can always stop or ask him to be careful or you can be in control so at least he won't hurt you by jamming into your cervix.
