Removing poop?

I’m a FTM and I’ve been exclusively cloth diapering for the entirety of my daughters 2 months of life. It’s been going really well but I’m thinking of the future and just wondering how does everyone get the poop off their diapers once it can’t go in the wash anymore? Also at what point did you start removing it before the wash?

I'd recommend looking into elimination communication! My daughter mostly poops on the toilet, so we don't have to clean poopy diapers! Her poop signs are really obvious so 99% of the time we can get her to the potty in time. 🙂

You can get a diaper sprayer and spray shield. Ive done both ways and WOW it’s so amazing having them. Makes it so easy to get any kind of poop off.

Remove it as soon as baby starts eating solids. At first my baby’s poop would just peel off into the toilet if I gave it a good shake. Now her poop is going through a sticky, difficult phase, so we use a diaper sprayer. I highly recommend investing in a diaper sprayer - for the longest time it felt like we’d never need it, but around a year old it became invaluable. They’re not very expensive, easy to install, and so worth it.

I use liners so I just pick up the edges and it can be flushed (not all can be flushed I prefer Kishies brand).
